Purpose
Objective severity scoring of atopic dermatitis combining clinical sign intensity and body surface area across four body regions.
Population
Adults and children (≥ 2 years) with atopic dermatitis. Validated for clinical trials and routine practice.

EASI = Σ (E + I + Ex + L) × Area × Weight · Max 72
Severity thresholds
Mild ≤ 7 · Moderate 7.1–21 · Severe 21.1–50 · Very severe > 50
