Hidradenitis Suppurativa Clinical Response — Kimball et al., 2016
Purpose
Assesses treatment response in HS by comparing lesion counts at baseline and follow-up.
Population
HS patients receiving active treatment. Requires minimum AN count ≥ 3 at baseline for assessability in trials.
Response criterion
HiSCR = ≥ 50% ↓ AN count AND no increase in abscesses AND no increase in draining tunnels vs. baseline
Definition of AN
AN = Abscesses + Inflammatory Nodules (does not include non-inflammatory nodules)
Baseline (Pre-treatment)
Inflammatory nodules (IN)
Abscesses (AB)
Draining tunnels (DT)
AN count (IN + AB)
0
Current / Follow-up
Inflammatory nodules (IN)
Abscesses (AB)
Draining tunnels (DT)
AN count (IN + AB)
