Purpose
Objective severity scoring of atopic dermatitis combining extent (A), clinical sign intensity (B), and patient-reported symptoms (C).
Population
All ages. Modified rule of nines applies to infants under 2 years.
Formula
SCORAD = A/5 + 7×B/2 + C (max. 103)
Severity thresholds
Mild < 25 · Moderate 25–50 · Severe > 50

Part A — Extent
Select affected body regions. Dry skin without active inflammation does not count.

Part B — Intensity
Score each sign on a representative affected area. 0 = Absent · 1 = Mild · 2 = Moderate · 3 = Severe
